ADHD
There are no blood test currently available showing proof that a chemical imbalance exists in those diagnosed with ADHD. Many of the test available are subjective in nature and rely on a “try-it-and-see” methodology. While these issues are certainly real, we believe the first approach in any case where a parent or healthcare provider is considering powerful medications to treat adhd is a focused approach to the whole body health, including nutrition and a normally functioning central nervous system. Before altering brain and body chemistry through chemistry why not take the approach of addressing the master control of all chemistry in the body?
Specific chiropractic care, at its heart, has a profound effect on body chemistry and helps the body reach its own normal state of balance. Working along with other healthcare providers, we have seen tremendous changes in people who wanted and needed another option besides more medication.
ADHD appears as a neurological disorder and chiropractic care helps reduce nervous system disturbances, many parents who want a natural, non-drug solution for their child have found chiropractic care helpful, even miraculous. ADHD is not the result of a Ritalin® shortage.
